Several miles of hiking trails are found on the east side of IL 97. A large parking lot is centrally located for easy access. Download a trail map here — trails include: Cardinal, Shady Hollow, Damselfly, and Shickshack.
The Mentor Graham trail (temporarily closed) is located off the Visitor Center parking lot on the site’s west side.
If you’ve never visited the Historic Village, be sure to allot some time to take in the sites of the mid-1800s village.
The Visitors’ Center hours:
May thru October, open 7 days per week, 9am to 5pm.
November thru April, open Wednesday thru Sunday, 9am to 4pm.
Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day & New Year’s Day.
